The story behind the day
Sophie and Thomas had always imagined doing things a little differently. With their original plans leaning towards an elopement, they chose to keep the legal ceremony intimate, marrying at their local registry office surrounded by a small number of family and close friends.
For the celebration, they hired out their local Gaucho, it was all about incredible food and an intimate and effortlessly cool affair, completely personal to them, with the restaurant setting creating exactly the laid-back atmosphere they wanted for the evening.
The styling couldn’t have felt more ‘Sophie and Thom’. Considered without feeling overly styled. Dean styled the entire wedding reception, a 4 hour job ensuring it was perfect for the arrival for the guests.
Soph and Thoms wedding is a brilliant example of a wedding that doesn’t need to follow a traditional format to feel incredibly special. They took the parts that mattered to them, left behind the ones that didn’t and created a celebration centred around great food, great music and the people they love

"Our wedding day would not have been the same without Sarah. From our very first call, both my husband and I immediately felt completely at ease and like a huge weight had been lifted.
We asked Sarah to assist us with on-the-day coordination around 4 weeks prior to the day, when we were struggling to pull everything together. Sarah is extremely professional & detail focused and really takes time to understand what you need and want as a bride.
She is like a swan - paddling like crazy behind the scenes but cool, calm and collected to deal with! I understand a few things outside of everyone's control went awry on our wedding day, but thankfully Sarah was there to catch everything before it affected the day, and I had no idea. We are honestly so grateful and I thoroughly recommend Sarah as a planner or coordinator.
My only regret is not knowing she existed sooner as I would have loved to have engaged her in a full planning capacity!"
